Описание товара

When your Raspberry Pi project requires multiple power supplies, why not check out the new Zero2Go Omini? This multi-input power supply buck-boost converter fits on top of a Raspberry Pi (any sort!) and lets you power it with up to 3 different input ports, so you can keep powered no matter what your battery or power plug situation.

Note that although it has the name ‘Zero’ it can be used by any Raspberry Pi computer with a 2×20 header. However, you’ll need a socket riser header in order for it to sit nicely on the Pi.

As we mentioned, this add-on has 3 separate input channels (A, B and C, kinda like the Glengarry Glen Ross of electronics, Always Be Connecting). One is a micro USB port, best used with USB wall adapters. The second one is an XH 2.54mm 2-pin connector for 0.1″ pitch cables. Finally, there is an SMT terminal block for bare wires, you can press down on the flexi-latch and insert stranded or solid core wires.

All input channels can accept 3.5~28V DC, and Zero2Go Omini will select the one with highest voltage. That voltage is then either boosted (if its under ~5V) or bucked (if its over ~5V) to a clean and regulated power output.  How to tell which mode is being used? Check the indicator LED on Zero2Go Omini: blue means step-up/pass-though, green means step-down. The converter can provide up to 2A, so it’s good for powering your larger Pi’s, even ones with small displays, radios, sensors, or accessories.

There’s a small microcontroller on-board that can manage the on-board button as an on-off control, UPS (uninterruptable-power-supply) configuration settings, and the LEDs. The microcontroller an be configured with included software to your heart’s content. There’s also various pads and jumpers for reprogramming the chip, or configuring the pin connections Check the operation manual for more details

Kit comes with standoffs, screws, and spacers, but no battery or power plug.
